Our History

Real Clean Inc., operating as Real Clean Gear (RCG), is a privately owned company located in Waterloo, Ontario.

The company was incorporated on October 18, 2005, and began offering cleaning services in the spring of 2006. Since that time, Real Clean Gear has excelled at cleaning the "Tough Stuff", and in doing so, has cleaned well in excess of 2,000 different items from various industries and market segments.

Since its start in 2005, RCG has emerged as a leader and preferred supplier in the care and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Apparel and in doing so, has designed customer specific care and maintenance programs for fire departments, police training centers, utility companies and steel manufacturers. In 2008, we developed a full service Arc-Rated FR and FR apparel program including pick-up & delivery, inventory, pre-soaking, cleaning, decontaminating (as required by NFPA 2113), inspecting, repairing, retiring, documenting, reporting and tracking. We also have designed a similar program for Arc Rated Fall Protection (harnesses, lanyards, anchors and ropes).

The company's cleaning operations are conducted entirely at its head office in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada where we use only the latest in laundry technology in order to get it clean, make it safe and save our customers money.

Real Clean Gear thrives on the unrelenting pursuit of "Customer Happiness" and believes in the motto "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care."
