Not only a business need but a personal need as well…
Involved in hockey his entire life and having two of four
children who enjoy the sport as well, Charlie McMane understood
the need to rid the stink from their gear and to lessen
the chances of his family becoming ill. Real Clean Gear
was not developed solely on a business need or a market
niche but on a father who yearned for his children and his
family to be healthy, safe, clean and smell free.
Opening its doors 18 months ago on Bathurst Drive, Waterloo,
Real Clean Gear operates with seven full and part-time employees
who clean, sanitize and protect various kinds of gear including
industrial, emergency services, restoration, commercial,
horse and rider, household, recreational and all types of
sporting gear. They will even help you with items that may
be just too bulky for home laundering, too bacteria ridden
or even too damaged (by smoke or flooding) for dry cleaning. |

Goals and Values:
Real Clean Gear aims to educate, sanitize and protect its
local citizens and businesses. When the value and need is
established here and when the market is well-informed, healthy
and happy Real Clean Gear plans to spread it’s wings
to outside markets including London, Sarnia Windsor and
beyond.
Viruses and bacteria have evolved – so should
our cleaning methods. Real Clean Gear understands that;
that is why they are here for the long run - cleaning, sanitizing,
restoring and protecting you and your gear from the germs.
Extending your health and the health of your gear! |
