► Real Clean Gear Inc. was incorporated in November 2005 and began offering cleaning services in the spring of 2006.
► The company is privately owned and operated by Charles McMane and Robert McMane.
► The Head Office and main operation is located in Waterloo, Ontario with a second operation located in Guelph Ontario. Utilizing the “Power” of the Esporta Wash System and its unique and patented wash capabilities, Real Clean Gear set out to clean the “Tough Stuff” and doing so has cleaned well in excess of 1,500 different items from various markets, segments and applications.
► The company has served numerous market segments and has spent the past three years gaining a thorough understanding for the cleaning industry in order to determine and clearly identify its true value proposition and market fit.
► The company excels at decontaminating, repairing and restoring items to “like new” condition providing its key markets and customers with improved safety and substantial cost savings.
► In the spring of 2008 Real Clean Gear made the decision to become a leader in the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) cleaning and maintenance industry. Since then the company has designed customer specific programs for fire departments, police training centers, local EMS stations and utility companies. The company continues to add new and innovative services and capabilities in an attempt to become the premier provider and complete solution to the PPE industry.
► The company was introduced to the “world” of AFPA (Arc Flash Protective Apparel) in June of 2008 when we were asked to present at the AEUSP (Association of Electrical Utilities Safety Professionals) conference in Niagara Falls. Since then we have developed a full service Arc Flash apparel cleaning and maintenance program to include pick-up & delivery, inventory, pre-soak, cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, repairing, retiring, documenting, reporting and tracking. We have been very fortunate to develop this program with the help of a few local utilities (one in particular) and now we are starting to receive interest from additional utilities within the region.
► In July 2008 Real Clean Gear became a member of the CCRN (Certified Contents Restoration Network) a group dedicated to restoring soft contents for the insurance industry. The network has grown internationally over the past 18 months and last month Real Clean Gear was the second largest provider to the insurance industry in North America. ► In January 2009, the company dedicated its Guelph location to the cleaning and maintenance of Equine Gear and Equipment in order to meet the growing demand for the various segments of the Equine Industry
